2.1 Understanding the Supreme – The Supreme

The title Supreme Soul is self explanatory, indicating He is Supreme and foremost highest amongst all souls. Souls may have various labels such as a great soul, a religious soul, a vicious soul, a sinful soul, etc but God is only one i.e., One of its kind. There is no one like Him and so He is beyond any comparison.

Like all souls, the Supreme Soul is also conscious energy, a point of light. God has been given the name ‘Shiva’ that describes Him completely and quite accurately. It conveys three different roles that are enshrined in Him: Benefactor, the Seed of Creation and Point Source of all universal values.
